Last month, Matt Whitton, Director of Executive Search and Operations at Chilworth Partnership and Venture Recruitment Partners, embarked on one of our biggest charity challenges yet!
Raising money for our long-term charity partner, Naomi House & Jacksplace, Matt ran a total of 465 km in April. On day 1 he started by running 1 km, on day 2 he ran 2 km and so on until day 21 where he ran a half marathon or longer each day until April 30th where he ran his final 30km.
Originally setting out with a fundraising goal of £1000, Matt raised an amazing £2400.
£1000 alone could support 132 hours of expert nursing care, 37 hours of bereavement counselling, or 9 fully staffed hydrotherapy sessions enabling a family to be in the pool together for the very first time.
Matt was supported by the Naomi House and Chilworth/Venture teams throughout the month, aswell as everyone who donated.
A huge thank you to our Corporate Partner, Lynda Crook, and to everyone who donated. It means the world to us that you can help us support a local charity that is doing spectacular work.
And lastly, a huge well done to Matt! It was not an easy challenge and you smashed it!
